Karl Nebel Named Director at Midtown Consulting Group

Orlando, Fla. – Atlanta-based Midtown Consulting Group (MCG) is expanding to Central Florida and has named Karl Nebel Director of the company’s Florida Region, the company announced this week. Nebel, a former Vice President with North Highland, will be responsible for leading the company’s growth and expansion strategy beginning in Orlando and covering Tampa, Jacksonville and South Florida.

Karl’s experience in strategic development and facilitating complex initiatives for his clients across the country creates the right balance for launching MCG’s business platforms in the competitive landscape. Nebel spent more than 15 years with North Highland, establishing their business in multiple markets.

Before transitioning into the consulting field, Karl progressed through leadership positions at Lockheed Martin, Walt Disney World, Orlando Health and Florida Hospital, helping each company modernize technology and operations.

Locally, he is recognized as the driving force behind the formation of bioOrlando, the life sciences community in Orlando, providing ideation and facilitation of the group’s creation.

Karl is also active in the Central Florida community, serving on boards for the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission, Florida Hospital’s Children’s Hospital and is board chair at A Gift For Teaching. He has led in-kind and pro-bono efforts at many other non-profits in Orlando as well.

Karl holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of Central Florida.
